ALL LESSONS TO BE PAID IN ADVANCE

As a New Learner/Beginner you will start with the cockpit drill and controls lesson and we will get you comfortable with the car, then onto moving off and stopping safely. The more you become confident and comfortable with your newly learned skills the more you will progress onto the other subjects and more complex situations, this is all done at your learning pace you will not be rushed.

If you have had lessons with another school or family member we would carry out a short assessment to see what you have learnt and structure your training from there.

You will be able to track your progress on the progress record sheet provided, this will show what subjects you have covered and what levels you are currently at, the progress sheet will start with:-

INTRODUCED - Theory behind the subject.

UNDER FULL INSTRUCTION - You will now be coached through the relevant subjects.

PROMPTED - You will be asked questions about what is happening in the relevant subjects as you progress

RARELY PROMPTED - I only have to remind you occasionally on the relevant subject.

INDEPENDENT - Exactly what it says on the tin you have now learnt that skill and are confident in carrying it out.

There are no set amount of lessons ( the DSA recommend 45hrs with an approved Instructor plus 22hrs private practise with friends or family ) that can work out pretty expensive in todays financial climate, everybody learns in different ways and at different speeds, your lessons will not be dragged out, if you are Test ready then you can go ahead and book your Practical Test appointment.

Remember you will need to have passed the Theory Test before you can book a Practical Car Driving Test.
